Even though managing a standalone web server isn't very challenging, it involves more management tasks in comparison to a shared hosting account, since the server where the latter is created is always managed by the provider. Things like updating the software and keeping an eye on the server to ensure that it is working are only a small part of these tasks. In this light, you will have to spend more time dealing with the server, so if you have not had a hosting server before and you're not exactly certain what you need to do and how to do it, you can take full advantage of a wide array of optional administration services. That way, you can focus on the content of your websites and on your marketing strategies as opposed to spending hours on mundane tasks.
Administration Services in VPS Servers
The administration services can be included in any of our VPS servers either during the signup procedure or afterwards through the billing CP. Our system admins can help you with lots of tasks - they can conduct regular backups on a separate web server so that you'll have a copy of your content if anything breaks down; they are able to update the OS running on the machine to keep it risk-free and stable; they can keep an eye on the processes on the server and reboot the latter when necessary; they're able to install and troubleshoot third-party apps if you aren't able to do this yourself. Depending on the tasks which you prefer to conduct yourself and on the tasks you wish to leave to our admins, you could either get all these things at the same time as part of one package, or you can get them one at a time as separate services.
Administration Services in Dedicated Servers
You can take full advantage of our administration services anytime. You can include them to your dedicated server either during the signup procedure or later through your billing Control Panel. This will not take more than a couple of clicks and you'll be able to select the tasks which our administrator team will handle. They are able to keep a weekly backup of your content and restore it anytime if necessary; they are able to keep an eye on and restart the dedicated server if some software issue appears; they can update the Operating System running on the machine each week to make certain that there are no security holes and that your files are protected; and last, but not least, they are able to handle anything else you decide, such as third-party software set up procedures and troubleshooting tasks. You'll be able to choose if you want to use all these services or simply a number of them and for what amount of time, depending on your experience and on the length of time you can spend dealing with server administration procedures.
